Questions

Time & Activity Verification FAQs

What is Time & Activity Verification in ZoikoTime?
Time & Activity Verification is ZoikoTime’s privacy-first approach to confirming workforce time records, Worker Status, break activity, shift continuity, approvals, exceptions, and audit evidence. It helps organizations understand whether work sessions, breaks, clock-ins, clock-outs, Early Finish Requests, and manager decisions are properly recorded and reviewable. It is not surveillance. ZoikoTime verifies workforce records through transparent events and governed workflows, not through screenshots, keystroke content, private messages, browsing history, application names, or personal files.
How is ZoikoTime different from traditional employee monitoring software?
What does ZoikoTime verify?
ZoikoTime may verify core workforce records such as assigned shifts, clock-in and clock-out events, Short Break and Lunch Break activity, Break Overrun events, Worker Status changes, Idle Review events, Early Finish Requests, Authorized Stand-Down, Connection Lost, Unverified Exit - Pending Review, manager approvals, corrections, report exports, and audit trail references. These records help organizations understand what happened during the workday and whether the correct policy was applied.
What does ZoikoTime not capture?
ZoikoTime should not capture screenshots, screen recordings, keystroke content, clipboard content, URL history, browsing history, application names, private files, private photos, personal messages, private calls, personal contacts, or personal device content. This boundary should apply across desktop, web, and mobile environments. ZoikoTime’s value is workforce assurance, not personal surveillance.
How does ZoikoTime verify Worker Status?
ZoikoTime verifies Worker Status through explicit status events and policy-driven state changes. A Worker may be Working, on Short Break, on Lunch Break, in Idle Review, Break Overrun, Early Finish Pending, Early Finish Approved, Authorized Stand-Down, Connection Lost, Unverified Exit - Pending Review, Shift Ended, or Absent / No Show. The Worker should be able to see their own status, and authorized Managers should see only the statuses within their permitted scope.
Can Managers review verified time and activity records?
Yes. Managers can review workforce records within their permitted scope. This may include Worker Status, breaks, Early Finish Requests, Unverified Exit events, Break Overruns, approvals, and team activity summaries. Manager visibility must be role-based and tenant-scoped. Managers should not see data outside their authorized teams or use signals as automatic disciplinary findings.
